I'm Ariel, and our team has been making custom keepsakes out of our San Leandro, California workshop for years. We've engraved more than 12,000 personalized pieces for pet parents, couples, and families across the country. Every Custom Pet Portrait Necklace starts as a photo you upload. Our artist hand traces the face into a clean line drawing, we send you a digital proof, and once you approve it the design goes onto the laser engraver. - Approve your digital proof within 24 to 48 hours. Request changes as many times as you need.

Can I put more than one pet on a single pendant?
No. Each disc is engraved with one pet only, so the portrait stays sharp and recognizable. For multiple pets, order one necklace per pet, or wear two pendants on the same chain.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, well lit shot of your pet's face, taken from the front, with the eyes and ears fully visible. Daylight photos with a plain background work best. Phone photos are perfectly fine.
Should I pick gold or silver?
Both are stainless steel with a hypoallergenic plating, so it comes down to what you usually wear. The engraving and birthstone bezel will match the metal you choose.
Will the engraving fade or wear off?
The portrait is laser engraved into the metal, not printed on top, so it will not rub off. Keep the pendant out of pools, showers, and lotions to protect the plating finish.
Will I see a digital proof before you engrave?
Yes. Within 24 to 48 hours of your order we email a sketch proof for you to approve or request changes. We do not start engraving until you say yes.
How long until it ships?
Production takes 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then we ship from our San Leandro, California workshop. Delivery time depends on distance from California.
