Hi, I'm Ariel. We make every Doodle Night Light by hand at our production studio in San Leandro, California. After thousands of custom acrylic keepsakes shipped across the US, this one is my favorite to make. Parents send us a phone photo of a crayon drawing or a watercolor from preschool, and our artist cleans it up, balances the colors, and prepares a print-ready file. Then we UV print the art straight onto a 5mm clear acrylic panel and pair it with a warm LED wooden base. Nothing gets outsourced. The same person who answers your email is the one finishing your plaque.

What kind of artwork works best?
Anything goes. Crayon, marker, watercolor, paint, pencil, even a mix. A clear, well lit phone photo on a flat surface is plenty. Our artist will brighten colors, clean smudges, and balance the file before printing.
Can I get a preview before you print?
Yes. Every order includes a digital proof. We won't print until you reply with approval, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
What's the difference between the two artwork styles?
"Background kept" prints the full drawing, including paper color and any backdrop the child painted. "Transparent area" removes the background so only the figures sit on the clear acrylic, which gives a floating glow when the LED is on.
How does the LED base work?
The wooden base has built-in warm LED lights powered by USB. Plug it into any phone charger, laptop, or USB port and slide the acrylic on top. It glows from below, perfect for a nightstand or bedroom shelf.
Can you combine drawings from two siblings?
Yes. Send both photos in your order notes and tell us how you'd like them arranged. Our artist will lay them out and show you the proof before printing.
How long until it arrives?
